ROMAN WALLS terracotta collection features authentic images, photographed in the center of the ancient city of Rome.
Terracotta 1 – a strong ochre pigment is very common to ancient walls of Rome. Made from clay, and applied by hand, this method gives the old walls a washed look as they weather. Superimpose your photographs or clipart graphics, or use on your webpage, to give your project an opulent Italian feel.
The heavily textured, worn and washed pigments certainly speak of an authentic Mediterranean tradition. Myriads of timeworn cracks and crevices add a sense of charming shabbiness, which makes this set perfect for any project with Italian flair. Each image includes a large textured surface area of ochre in the traditional brown-red soil of tuscany. Also some details of stoney greys, and smaller areas where the paint is faded, mixed and crumbling.
Each file is 20 x 27 cm portrait layout, and 300 dpi for best print quality. If you need larger sizes please contact me.
