ROMAN WALLS terracotta collection features authentic images, photographed in the center of the ancient city of Rome.
Terracotta 3 – is a strong ochre pigment paint which is very common on the ancient city. This image shows heavily weathered wall paint with cracks and stains. Half ochre and half white is good for text colour versatility, and featuring splashes and drips on a bumpy old wall.
Superimpose your photographs or clipart graphics, or use on your webpage, to give your project an opulent Italian feel. This intensely textured, worn and washed wall speaks of an authentic Mediterranean tradition.
The image depicts a large textured surface area of washed ochre in the traditional clay soils used pigments in paint. Also some details of crumbling lime whitewash, a typical layered effect you see on so many antique facades in Italy.
